My name is Bill Barbera, a native of Napoleonville, Louisiana, and I am a longtime resident of Thibodaux, La.. Automobiles have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a family deeply rooted in the automotive business—Barbera Chevrolet, founded in 1926 by my grandfather, and later owned and operated by my father and my brothers, Mike and Bobby. Bobby owned the dealership until its recent sale, continuing a family legacy that spanned nearly a century.

Although I did not work directly in the dealership, I grew up around it, and that environment fostered a lifelong passion for cars, particularly classic and performance vehicles. Over the years, that passion became personal, highlighted by ownership of several Corvettes and a deep appreciation for well-engineered, beautifully maintained automobiles.

Professionally, my career has been spent in financial services, primarily banking, and most recently in service to the Catholic Church. As I approach retirement from full-time professional life, I felt called to pursue something that would be both fulfilling and a meaningful use of my time. From that desire, Barbera LuxuryMotorcars was born.

My goal is simple: to provide clients with easy, transparent, and enjoyable buying experience. Whether that means sourcing the right vehicle, guiding—or fully handling—the acquisition process, or offering carefully selected inventory available for immediate purchase, I work one-on-one with each client to ensure their needs and expectations are met.
